Every parent who signs up their baby for a photo shoot wants to capture the best moments of their little one, though many parents don’t realize that professional photographers usually spend a considerable amount of time attempting to frame the perfect shots and photos. If you like DIYing things in general and have decided you’ll be the one to take your little angel’s photos, then be prepared not to get the same results as a professional would produce, unless of course, you yourself are a pro. We have gathered a few nice visuals to give you an idea of the results you might have if you recreate some popular baby photos. Trust us – you’ll want to see these…
Being Wrapped Like This Wouldn’t Make Us Happy Either
Without a doubt, the perfect shot on the left took quite a long time to get, so don’t worry if you take forever to recreate it. What’s more, your baby’s temperament should be one of the things you consider when you think of wrapping your little angel in a blanket seeing as the line between a bundle of joy and the hulk is thin. However, at least the photo on the right will be pretty handy in the future, once this little one is all grown up and is going on dates, but right now, it is quite a funny fail.

Get Me Outta Here!
Posing babies is how professional photographers earn a living, so their understanding of what works well and what doesn’t is pretty good. The tiny tot on the left seems to have fallen asleep soon after they were placed inside the netting. However, the baby on the right doesn’t seem to have had the same experience. I believe that’s what desperation looks like, because otherwise how would you explain it?

Get Me Outta Here!
This Photo Shoot Was Ruined By Bad Aim
We must say this photoshoot almost came out successful – almost. We’re not sure how many attempts were made before the bottom picture came to be, but we’re sure of one thing, perfecting your little angel’s photo shoot on your own will take more than just one attempt. All the same, we still love this photo because it is very slice-of-life and a lot like real life, simple and not staged but perfect.

To Be Fair, The Original Girl Is Much Older
Aside from the fact that the young girl on the left appears to be quite older, it is also easier to give directions to a kindergartener than to a younger child, so this little girl shouldn’t be blamed if the outcome is less than perfect. However, we still think this is a win seeing as the little girl’s pigtails are adorable, she is wearing a priceless expression, AND this picture shows a child’s typical day. Her parents are surely happy to share this with anyone.

To Be Fair, The Original Girl Is Much Older
A Pumpkin Is No Place For A Baby
For the uninitiated, it is really slimy and cold inside a pumpkin, so it is not surprising that the little one on the right is pretty freaked out. What’s more, the tiny tot’s little legs seem to have been jammed into the tiny holes with nowhere to go, which didn’t help matters for sure. Add to that the fact that the background is pretty dark, making the confinement appear much more constricted.

A Pumpkin Is No Place For A Baby
Doesn’t Really Make The Baby Any Less Adorable
Pouting aside, the tiny tot on the right has a few things he needs to do to complete the Frosty the Snowman look – make his nose look a bit less stressed and get himself a top hat. Actually, this picture is better than most on the list because at least, the little one is not freaking out or is being made to balance dangerously on a thing which is not meant to be used for little babies to balance on. If this baby grows up loathing winter, it would be absolutely understandable given that they experienced something like this early on, plus there’s a picture to prove it.

Help! The Lights Are Coiling Themselves Around Me!
If we may say so, the idea of using Christmas lights as a prop for baby photo shoots is not something we are really keen on. Just look at these babies – one is about to pop the lights in their mouth while those things are on (!) and the other baby has a look which practically screams, “One day, I will settle the score and it won’t be pretty.” One other thing, it appears this photoshoot is so last-minute and not much thought was put into it seeing as the tiny tot on the right has a hat on that would leave anybody who sees it at a loss for words, and not in a good way.

Help! The Lights Are Coiling Themselves Around Me!
Who Came Up With Idea Of Putting Babies Inside Fruits And Vegetables?
Without a doubt, watermelon is a summer treat that’s refreshing and tasty but it’s not really the best thing to place your tiny tots in when you are taking their photos. If you look at the expression of the little one on the right, they are clearly not happy they were put inside watermelon rind which is too small and quite sticky. They probably know that a bath would likely follow soon after due to the mess, something the tiny tot is not really looking forward to. Parents, it would be best if you let the professionals do their thing when it comes to the babies and fruit combo.

WARNING: Keep Glass Balls Away From Children
We really don’t think the perfect Christmas / Holiday picture is worth risking the safety of a baby, so we don’t agree with surrounding little angels with glass balls which could shatter. Also, planning for a photoshoot includes creating a vision and thinking of realistic expectations of the outcome and also the model’s abilities. If you really think about it, recreating the photo on the left would mean the camera angle is straight on, not above the baby, and it’s necessary for the model to be able to lift their head. Obviously, these weren’t considered for the photoshoot on the right, resulting in this comedy goldmine.

WARNING: Keep Glass Balls Away From Children
Oh No! There’s Something In My Eye
A baby having fun playing with some colorful cupcake looks cute and fun until the little one gets it in their eyes. The waterworks start and before you can even process anything, the photoshoot is cut short, without any decent photos to keep or show. Word of advice: Go with simple ideas. You can avoid messes such as this AND you get to keep your little angel’s adorable photos forever, possibly hanging them on your walls at home with pride.

Oh No! There’s Something In My Eye
Didn’t I Tell You No Flowers?!
Even though babies are adorable bundles of joy, in photoshoots, we can’t really expect their full cooperation. The little one on the left appears quite happy with her head accessory, while the baby on the right is simply not having it. Well, it’s highly likely that they were not asked beforehand about the flower accessory on the head, so the one on the right should be allowed to express her grievances in the way that she knows how. Nevertheless, this re-creation fail is both realistic and hilarious.

Didn’t I Tell You No Flowers?!
It’s Called A Choking Hazard
Those things are not only a choking hazard, but also don’t seem very comfortable if they are sat on. That is why we are wondering how the first baby’s photographer succeeded in getting the little baby to sleep in the pretty uncomfortable looking bowl filled with candy. Also, we can’t blame the tiny tot on the right for freaking out because feeling like you are sinking in quicksand-like candy must be really unpleasant, to say the least. The parents are real champs, though, for managing to keep their baby upright because the little one’s face sinking lower would have been quite a disaster.

It’s Called A Choking Hazard
Mom, Please Act Like A Grownup And Put On The Sock Correctly
Socks are not for the whole body and the tiny tot on the right seems to understand this. It appears that they have been kicking like crazy so that they could get out of the sock prison. Even though the setup is not perfect, the little angel in the second photo doesn’t look mad that mom and dad chose to shove them into a sock, which is great. All the same, the concept of baby photoshoots not being easy may be something that parents will only understand if they themselves have tried doing one that ends up being a failure.

Mom, Please Act Like A Grownup And Put On The Sock Correctly
I Told You I Can’t Read!
The idea seems pretty simple – bespectacled baby peacefully sleeps on some books in a pile. By now, you should already know that nothing is simple in terms of baby photoshoots. The baby on the left may grow up to be a bibliophile someday, though the little one on the right is no bookworm. The main takeaway from this is you should never assume that what works with other people’s babies will work with yours as well, especially if your baby is not that into reading.

I Told You I Can’t Read!
Is This Photo Shoot Or A Trust Exercise?
The concept works in the top photo because they were clearly working with a little newborn who fits perfectly in their hands. The bottom photo, however, clearly shows a baby who is older, bigger, and better able to express what they feel, all of which explain the adorable look they have on their little face. This baby looks like they know the end result won’t be good for them if they get dropped by hands that are too small, and therefore the expression screaming “Help me!” We, on the other hand, will take the cute and funny second picture any day.

Is This Photo Shoot Or A Trust Exercise?
Is This Joyful Enough For You?
You can probably guess which photoshoot likely ended in disaster. There’s no other explanation for the first picture except the involvement of bribery, otherwise, how were they able to get the children to look really happy? It actually doesn’t matter if they were bribed or coaxed or if they simply are genuinely happy kids, it seems the photo shoot did not come easy as you can see in the second photo. Quite ironic that the children in the bottom photo are holding up the letters which spell “JOY”.

Is This Joyful Enough For You?
I Give Up
Pictures of newborn babies sporting adorable outfits while peacefully sleeping on a soft-looking rug are classic, but never forget that creating classic is not an easy thing to do. Sometimes, the top photo is pretty much what you get. Other times, it’s the bottom picture, complete with a baby who looks like they’ve absolutely given up on things, including their parents. It’s remarkable how calm the first photo seems while the second picture seems like the complete opposite.

I Give Up
Didn’t Know Storks Deliver In Boxes
Look at what the mail brought – your very own adorable bundle of joy! What you can learn from these photos is that execution is very important. Even if your idea is a whole different level of awesome, not carrying it out well will give you the photo on the right. It came out quite hilarious, though, and the little one is not crying or fussing and is completely still in spite of being in a box with some packing peanuts, so this one doesn’t deserve to be completely written off and or regarded as a fail, though we may need to check if this baby is real.

Didn’t Know Storks Deliver In Boxes
I Don’t Want To Be A Stocking Stuffer!
This photoshoot does not only look adorable but is also fitting for the holidays! You might not have noticed, but the baby in the first picture is not actually inside the stocking and his accessories, like his Santa hat and candy cane, are all appropriate for him when it comes to size and theme. The tiny tot in the bottom photo, unfortunately, had parents that took ‘Stocking Stuffer’ literally and actually placed them inside a stocking. This baby is probably crying because their legs are so cramped!

I Don’t Want To Be A Stocking Stuffer!
The Rose Among The Thorns
This idea for a photo shoot would be perfect for families with mostly boys and whose most recent addition is an angelic girl. The threat, “Don’t mess with her!” is very cute coming from little boys who are now big brothers to their little sister and will always have her back. Although we’re quite sure the boys in the second picture will also look out for their baby sister, in the photo, they don’t seem to be in agreement about things in general.

The Rose Among The Thorns
WE Don’t Want To Make Snow Angels!
Snow angels are pretty synonymous with winter wonderland but even adults need some extra protection against the cold when trying to create snow angels. In the top photo, you can see that the baby’s parents did an excellent job bundling their tiny tot in a snowsuit that has extra padding. In the second picture, however, the crying cuties’ parents seem to have overlooked this really important thing seeing as the poor little ones are in outfits which may be cute but definitely not thick enough to protect them from the cold. For all the parents, if you would like to do a photo shoot such as this, please don’t forget properly clothed your little angels so that they could handle the cold.

WE Don’t Want To Make Snow Angels!
Where’s My Morning Cup?!
This one is all about perspective. Both photos succeeded in creating the baby-in-a-mug look and nearly all the elements are the same, but it seems the second baby has not had their morning cup yet, so we get the crankiness. Also, the hilarious picture on the right makes it looks like the baby is not happy getting dipped in a hot beverage! In the photo on the left, on the other hand, everything is perfect seeing as all the elements are within the frame AND you can see the cute background with an even cuter baby.

Where’s My Morning Cup?!
Is It Too Much To Ask For Cake?!
This feminine approach to first birthdays is not only fun but also adorable. The little lady on the left appears to have had quite a hip photographer who certainly knows how to do an awesome set up for a great photo seeing as the little one looks delighted to be in style while celebrating her birthday. Despite the fact that most of the elements had been copied perfectly, the little girl on the right just wasn’t having it. It’s highly likely that all she wanted was a piece of that cake and nothing else!

Is It Too Much To Ask For Cake?!
It Pays To Keep Your Mouth Shut
Photographs of parents with their babies lying on them are always a classic. This mom and adorable baby nailed the concept but it seems they have gotten a little overzealous and attempted to have some extra shots taken for good measure. However, the smiling, unsuspecting mother was about to get quite a surprise from her tiny tot! All the same, this hilarious photo fail gives you a glimpse of what parenthood is actually like, which parents know all too well, but for people who will become parents soon, good luck!

It Pays To Keep Your Mouth Shut
Someone Hasn’t Taken Their Chill Pill
If you are thinking of making your baby wear a button-up shirt with a bowtie, make sure that the ensemble is something he is comfortable with. The little angel on the left seems thrilled, whereas the little guy on the right looks a lot like what the Boss Baby would look like in real life. Having said that, we actually think that both photos are great because what we see are two adorable babies – a really happy one and an all business one. We don’t see anything wrong with that.

Someone Hasn’t Taken Their Chill Pill
I’m SOOOO Sleepy!
This type of photo shoot seems quite difficult to do successfully because you need to make sure the tiny tot is sleeping and their head is cradled perfectly in their tiny hands. That certainly sounds like you are bound to fail when you try to DIY this kind of shoot. On another note, the adorable little one on the right is making us really happy because we totally get what they are going through. This is what happens when you try your best to look cute buy you are so sleepy you look miserable instead.

I’m SOOOO Sleepy!
Babies And Electrical Wiring Are Not Always A Great Combo
We’re sure about one thing in these photos – there is one baby who is seriously freaked out over some Christmas lights but can you really blame the tiny tot? If your own parents wrapped you in lights that have electrical wiring and are plugged in, it isn’t exactly fun what with the potential danger and all. As if that weren’t enough, mom and dad chose to take photos instead of helping their crying baby out. Note to parents: If you’re thinking about using props in your baby’s photo shoot, make sure they don’t freak out the little angel before you start taking pictures.

Babies And Electrical Wiring Are Not Always A Great Combo
Who Said I Wanted Kisses?!?
A baby can have two possible reactions to being kissed many times, either the little one gets into a fit of giggles or they scream their head off. The little bundle of joy on the left clearly enjoyed the kisses, whereas the tiny tot on the right clearly did not. In a photo shoot, photographers spend hours making sure they get the best picture because they know that is their job and that is how they pay the bills. It’s safe to say that a professional did not take the photo on the right because it looks like whoever took it didn’t spend some time taking it.

Who Said I Wanted Kisses?!?
Isn’t It Too Much To Expect Kids To Pull Off This Balancing Act?
You should know by now that taking a great photo of kids is hard, so we don’t get why some would choose to add a balancing act in the equation. The picture on the left shows children nailing some serious symmetry, but the kids in the photo on the right, unfortunately, may need a bit more work in perfecting that. The picture on the right shows a young lady who is unimpressed, a little boy who is really uncomfortable, and a tiny baby who is holding on for dear life. However, we’re not writing that photo off because we’d love to put it on our wall since it’s so funny.

Isn’t It Too Much To Expect Kids To Pull Off This Balancing Act?
Looks Simple Enough
When people see the photo on the left, many would probably assume that it would be pretty easy to re-create. All you need to do is place a blanket on the head of a baby and their cherubic smile will do the work, right? Well, not quite because you see, filters and Photoshop actually play a big role in creating a sweet photo. Aside from that, it would help if your tiny tot is not wearing the “I’m gonna git you sucka” expression because if they did, the picture on the right is pretty much what you would get.

Looks Simple Enough
The Stars And Stripes Forever
Regardless of when the photo shoots are done, either around the 4th of July or Memorial Day, the fact that parents want to have the American flag as a background for their babies makes us think the adults deserve to get credit for having patriotism. Even if the little angels are only sporting sunglasses in these photos, or perhaps because of that, the pictures came out pretty adorable. The second baby, however, does not look the least bit happy. Maybe because he doesn’t like his bare bottom rubbing against the cold floors. Can you really blame him?

The Stars And Stripes Forever
Oops! Didn’t Really See That Coming
As you may already know, babies cannot really control their orifices, so they go whenever they need to. The facial expression of this poor tiny tot practically says it all! Despite the mom’s effort to keep the puke from getting all over the dad’s head, you can clearly see that the situation absolutely tickled her, most likely because it’s not her hair that is getting sprayed with all that stuff. The expression of the dad, however, seems to be saying something like, “Meh, this stuff is nothing, so can we please just finish this photo shoot already?”

Oops! Didn’t Really See That Coming
New Baby Not Welcome
Basically, there are two kinds of children: those who desperately want a younger sibling so they have someone to play with (or just to do stuff with) and those who definitely do not mind being an only child (and are perfectly happy to be one). Case in point: the two boys in these photos. We’re sure the children’s parents came up with the idea of doing this photo shoot, but only one kid seems thrilled by it. The other child just looks miserable, probably because he’s thinking about how the arrival of a new baby would affect him, like his parents’ attention getting diverted elsewhere.

New Baby Not Welcome
Carrot Gone Rogue
Some parents like to dress up their tiny tots for the holidays, the favorites being Christmas and Easter. There are quite a lot of possibilities and costumes that parents can make their tiny bundles of joy wear, not to mention all the many available props the adults can play with and the babies can use. Since Easter bunnies most likely eat carrots (let’s be honest no one really knows what they actually eat), then putting some carrot on your little angel seems like a wonderful idea, right? Well, the photo on the left is quite understandable – the adorable baby is the bunny and they have a carrot in their hand – but can somebody explain to us what’s happening in the picture on the right because we see a cute carrot baby that has a carrot on their face.

Carrot Gone Rogue
An Uncomfortable Sailor
There’s something about sailor costumes that get parents really excited, probably due to the adorable little hat that usually comes with a tiny anchor on it, or maybe something else. Whatever the reason is, a costume looks great if the tiny tot is actually delighted to wear it, or at least can be seen with an expression of joy. However, the little one on the right seems really uncomfortable and his expression looks a bit off. We don’t know why this little guy’s expression is like this but we’re pretty sure this is not the look his parents were aiming for when they were putting this special outfit on him for this photo shoot.

An Uncomfortable Sailor
A Few Kisses
This concept surely can’t get any cuter. Aside from the fact that kisses are delicious, they are something many parents really enjoy giving their babies, but sometimes (some argue that it’s oftentimes) reality is different from expectation. You probably imagined something like the photo on the left – a baby sleeping with a huge Hershey kiss – but instead, you got the picture on the right, complete with a bawling baby. It doesn’t matter that there is so much love surrounding the infant, nothing can keep her from expressing her feelings, which probably are just hunger and impatience for having to pose.

A Few Kisses
What?! Why Did They Do That?
Even though everyone knows babies can’t read, there’s something quite adorable about seeing little angels turning the pages of a miniature Beatrix Potter book or a comic book. The little guy on the left seems pretty absorbed in his Spider-Man comic book, perhaps because his dad is a fan of Marvel. The adorable tiny tot on the right, however, looks like he has reached the story’s climax and has discovered a rather interesting plot hole. Whatever is causing both the babies to have those expressions on their faces should get some credit because the photos came out well and not at all boring.

What?! Why Did They Do That?
Can Someone Give This Baby Some Holiday Cheer?
Everyone can relate to adorable baby No.2, who seems to be thinking, “Oh, brother. Not another photo.” Everybody has been there, family get-togethers during the holidays where non-stop photo sessions seem to always happen even if there are so many other things that people could do instead. After some time, you can’t help but give up. In spite of both photo shoots having been done probably for or during the holidays, the tiny tot on the right seems to have run out of holiday cheer, whereas the little guy on the left brings us joy with his pretty cheerful smile, which is most likely due to the nap he had beforehand.

Can Someone Give This Baby Some Holiday Cheer?
If You Didn’t Get Dirty, You Wouldn’t Need A Bath
When it comes to baby photos, a few of the iconic ones include a little angel bundled up in a blanket or a tiny tot wrapped in a towel after having taken a bath. Even though it’s a pretty simple photo, perfecting it is apparently more difficult than what you would think. The two babies look very pretty and adorable, but baby number two might have been feeling a bit under the weather, which explains the puke dripping from her mouth. She probably had to have a second bath to get clean again, something she might not be looking forward to or be up for.

If You Didn’t Get Dirty, You Wouldn’t Need A Bath
The Little Ballerina
For some reason, plenty of moms enjoy dressing up their little angels with ballet costumes. Moms probably have a “mommy sense” that pushes them to put some hair accessories and a tutu on their baby girls whenever they see the said items. Actually, we have to admit that we’ll take either of the pictures any day because we feel both are adorable in their own way. As much as we like calm and content babies, we are also really fond of babies with character, which we think the baby on the right has a lot of (as can be seen in the way she is looking straight at someone and sticking her tongue out).

The Little Ballerina
A Breakfast Bowl Of Goodness
Another thing that new parents seem to enjoy doing is putting their babies in containers and taking pictures of their little ones, as you can see in the photos. The use of a glass bowl filled with cereal as a prop could really cute if you have the perfect tiny tot model. You could do something like the little angel simply wandering into the kitchen and getting herself in a big bowl of cereal by accident without spilling so much. Needless to say, that’s not what would happen because what you would do in reality is shove your infant into a bowl, she would feel squished inside and the poor thing would bawl in return.

A Breakfast Bowl Of Goodness
Is That Supposed To Be Santa?!
Little humans wearing hats are just so irresistible, no matter the kind of hat they don, and will always look adorable. What’s more, the level of cute definitely increases if their hat is a bit too big or if you add a holiday theme. Baby number one is what you call a typical Christmas baby – big hat and large eyes. Baby number two, on the other hand, we’re not really sure what his eyes look like seeing as there is a massive Santa hat in the way and their face is hidden, which is such a pity really.

Is That Supposed To Be Santa?!
Holiday Heels
Isn’t it just adorable when little kids try on their parents’ clothing? Usually, it’s toddlers who wear mom’s shoes and walk around, but as you can see, infants are able to put on mom’s shoes as well. These photos will prove that to you. If we might say so, these photos are just so awkward seeing as a tiny baby clearly cannot walk on her own, much less wear those high heels, though it seems Santa is giving these infants a hand in standing up in these shoes (which aren’t even upright in the picture on the left).

Holiday Heels
Another Stocking Stuffer
Another photo of a baby literally being a stocking stuffer. In spite of us understanding this concept – the little angel, quite adorable, fits perfectly in a holiday stocking, which is pretty similar to a mini sleeping bag for infants – and this prop being common in holiday pictures, in reality, things don’t always go the way you planned them. The baby on the right has an expression of fear on their face, probably because they are basically stuffed inside something that feels like a sock prison or they don’t really like the giant puffballs that have been placed on their head. However, this little one still deserves some credit for staying as calm as possible and still following directions, like holding on to that cute red bow.

Another Stocking Stuffer
A Pumpkin Of Tears
Yet another picture of a baby placed inside a pumpkin. Some parents seem to think that this concept is hysterical, so they carve some leg holes onto a pumpkin and place their own tiny human inside, calling the little one a baby pumpkin! The idea may seem really nice, but some babies just don’t appreciate being stuffed inside food products. Well, we can’t really blame these young ones seeing as it isn’t really nice being stuck anywhere that is slimy – even if it’s for the holiday.

A Pumpkin Of Tears
Kiss Sandwich
We love pictures of parents kissing their little bundles of joy because it’s a very beautiful thing, though sometimes, attempts at recreating such photos don’t always come out perfect. In the photo on the left, you can see the parents’ love for their baby perfectly illustrated as they kiss their newborn on her cheeks. In the other photo, you can see the parents doing the same thing but their baby doesn’t look all that happy and instead, looks scared. The infant somehow messes it up in the most hilarious way possible, but we completely understand since it’s difficult sometimes to be manipulated just for a photograph.

Kiss Sandwich
Not In A Festive Mood
Yet another photo with babies and plugged in Christmas lights! This is not safe, and the little one on the left looks like are enjoying gnawing on the lights (not safe!) while the tiny tot on the right looks like they are about to have a nervous breakdown. To all the mommies and daddies out there, please make sure that your babies are not going to be in actual physical danger and not under a lot of emotional stress when you are planning for their photo shoots. We don’t think great photos are more valuable than your children, and we know you think so too.

Not In A Festive Mood
A Different Style
Moms who like doing crafts often look through websites, like Pinterest, to get nice ideas and some inspiration. Sometimes these ladies see something really nice and they think of making it for their child, though things don’t always work out according to plan. The young lady in the first photo looks quite adorable wearing her blue and green tutu with peacock accent and she looks happy wearing her costume. On the other hand, the other little girl is not happy, though we don’t really know if it’s because she doesn’t really like her mom’s creation or if it’s because she’s wearing pants under the tutu.

A Different Style
Who Said Eggs And Babies Are A Good Match?
Even though baby number one seems to be perfectly at peace lying on all his or her Easter egg winnings, baby number two just looks overwhelmed, probably because the little one is frustrated by being placed inside a real Easter basket. On the other hand, the tiny tot on the left appears to have been placed in a tub or a bigger bassinet, which would give the Easter eggs more space to spread a bit more evenly around happy baby number two. The poor little boy on the left looks like the eggs were dumped on him! Still, both look like lovely gifts from none other than the Easter bunny!

Who Said Eggs And Babies Are A Good Match?
The Easter Bunny That Everyone Is Looking For
This photo shoot’s concept is a baby wearing adorable bunny ears and sleeping peacefully. Both babies are equally adorable but the top picture definitely fits the description “peaceful baby” better. The bottom one, however, fits this description better: “infant lying with nothing to do and no clue what to do next.” Of course, it’s possible that baby no.2 just wants to start looking for some Easter eggs and couldn’t really care less about the photo shoot.

The Easter Bunny That Everyone Is Looking For
What Did I Tell You About Ridiculous Baskets?!
Basket, blanket, baby – does this combo sound good for a photo shoot and does it sound easy to do? If you answered yes, you may have to think about your answer again because this only sounds easy on paper but in reality, it is actually really hard to do. The baby on the right has an expression that seems to say they will have to have a serious talk with their parents over this photo, though the child remains adorable in spite of the anger. To all the moms and dads out there, never forget that photography is not that easy and what you see on Pinterest takes a lot to do – the second photo proves that.

What Did I Tell You About Ridiculous Baskets?!
Part Of The Process
According to pro photogs whose specialty is baby shoots, the process usually involves pee and poop and every single shoot will have some amount of either or both. Here, it looks like the proud mom succeeded in keeping her face safe from the unwelcome spray courtesy of her precious cargo, but her dress didn’t escape unharmed, nor did the ground. At least all (well, most) parents seem to have a great sense of humor in terms of becoming human toilets for their kids. We’re sure these parents dreamed of potty training once they finished the baby photo shoots.

Part Of The Process
What The Fear Of Balloons Looks Like
Did you know that there is such a thing as a fear of balloons and it’s called Globophobia? Well, now you do and if the tiny tot in the second photo didn’t have it before this photo shoot, then they probably do now. Aside from all the things that must have gone on in these photo shoots, the babies were stuck in a crib, so it’s not surprising if these shoots had not gone according to plan. Despite a failed attempt, mom and dad should still keep this fun photo because it is a reminder that they’re not professional photographers AND that Globophobia is real.

What The Fear Of Balloons Looks Like
Homemade Swing Fail
There’s nothing cuter than a swing that makes it look like your child is wearing adult pants. The look on the kid on the right’s face says “why mom, why?”. Although we have to give them an A+ for effort, the execution isn’t quite there. It looks like a major wedgie to us.

Homemade Swing Fail
Tiny Baby Bed Fail
Have you ever seen a bed fit for a newborn? Well, now you have! Other than the aqua crotchet blanket, the photo below has nothing else in common with the professionally shot one. It looks to us like the baby in the bottom photo is doing sort of a face-plant into his “new crib”.

Tiny Baby Bed Fail
At Least She’s Just As Happy
Although this little girl’s parents didn’t get the photo exactly like its predecessor, we have to admit, it’s still very cute! She doesn’t seem to mind the cake all over her face and hands, she looks quite happy about it actually! Who else thinks they went straight to the bath after the photo was taken?

At Least She’s Just As Happy
Little Crochet Bunny Gone Wrong
What’s better than your tiny newborn in a crotchet bunny outfit made by Grandma? Although this little one’s gram did a great job crotcheting, her parents didn’t quite get the background or pose correctly. We can’t tell if the baby is laughing or crying, but our best bet is the latter.

Little Crochet Bunny Gone Wrong
Why Are These Cold Plastic Eggs Touching Me??
We’ll never understand why a parent decides to put their baby in a basket full of cold Easter eggs, but that’s for another time. Their adorable baby was probably thinking the same thing, his faces surely says it all.

Why Are These Cold Plastic Eggs Touching Me??
Is It Snack Time Already?
Babies usually put everything in their mouths, no matter if the said item is food or not. These twins decided to eat the props during their Christmas photo shoot. Don’t those ornaments and lights look totally delicious?

Get Me Out Of Here, Mom!
Get me off of this hard, cold wood floor and wrap me in a blanket! What are you trying to do, electrocute me? I need a diaper, clothes and my bottle, asap. We’ll try again next year, I promise.

Duck Face And That’s It
Copying a photo cannot be done without mirroring the background, props, outfit and of course getting a professional photographer! The only thing the baby on the right’s parents got right was the duck face, everything else is completely off!

Get Me Out Of This Box Immediately!
Everyone loves Christmas, right? Maybe everyone but this little Santa Claus. His very first Christmas was surely spoiled after being dressed as the bearded guy and put in a paper gift box.

I Didn’t Want To Be An Elf This Year!
This was the year mom and dad said he could be a reindeer or Santa Claus, instead of the elf costume he’s worn every year since. He tried to keep his cool, but once he was handed the prop, he completely lost it. We don’t blame him, elves are so last year!

Real Dog Vs. Fake Snowman
Getting a surprise kiss from your pup under the Christmas tree is one thing, but being surprised by a scary Frosty the Snowman is another entirely. Little Joey looks like he’s just saw a ghost, maybe it was Snowman touching him that resulted in his reaction.

So Close…
20 minutes later and the kids are finally stacked up like dominoes on top of one another. Too bad no one listened to dad when he said not to feed the baby right before the shoot. Now we have a photo with 3 kids, and little Mia’s breakfast! At least her big sister doesn’t seem too fazed.

At Least Dad And His Oldest Daughter Look Happy
The dad on the left makes carrying 4 little ones look easy, so Jimmy decided to give it a shot with his bunch. We guess he didn’t take into account that his kids are older and therefore heavier. This photo is such a fail.

Santa, Do NOT Touch Me!
The Santa on the left looks completely frightened to be holding a newborn, but it’s the other way around in the right photo! Our best guess is that it was Santa’s first time coddling a baby, and it was poor Jane’s first time as well.

Missing The Headband And The Smile!
Please get me out of this vegetable…we’re supposed to eat our food, not play with it, right mom? It’s freezing out here, I’m wearing no clothes and there’s something crawling up my leg! Halloween is now my least favorite holiday thanks to you guys!

I Wanna Be Like Mommy
The photo on the left is an image that’s really popular on Pinterest and has been going around online for some time now, with many people trying to recreate it. The little one in the picture on the right, however, may not have gotten the memo seeing as she is clearly letting her inner goofball loose. This picture is technically a fail in terms of recreating the popular pose, but we think it is still a win because it makes us very happy and we want to keep it. We’re quite sure this mom and daughter pair shares what we feel and they will forever treasure their photo.

A Truck Too Tiny
Some may think this baby photo shoot idea is great if the tiny tot is a boy though this kind of shoot can be just as great for girl babies as well. The key here is to have someone, like the baby’s parents, who can get the little angel to curl up on the toy truck. The second baby appears as if they were set down in spite of not really fitting in the truck. They look like they might fall off, which is why we can’t blame this baby for having a meltdown, given the circumstances.
