Brendan and John stood paralyzed, their eyes staring in disbelief at the contents of the package. A knife, the handle of which was attached to a package of white powder, glowed ominously under the light of the platform. The powder, which they had seen many times during their operations, was definitely an illegal substance. Their minds were racing, but the silence around them seemed oppressive. As coast guards, they had confiscated drugs like that many times, but seeing such a scene in such an isolated and secretive place made them wonder: what the hell was going on?
