Keays-Byrne has appeared in a number of films and television shows, including The Man from Hong Kong, The Blood of Heroes, Moby Dick, and Farscape. Resistance, a 1992 Australian film, was his directorial debut.

Daria Nicolodi, a 70-year-old Italian actress and screenwriter, has died. Her professional career actually started in television, but she gained prominence through her collaboration with Dario Argento on films such as Deep Red, Inferno, Tenebrae, Phenomena, and Opera. Stefania Casini was originally cast as the lead in Suspiria, which she co-wrote with Dario Argento, but was recast due to a back injury. Asia Argento is the daughter of Nicolodi and Argento.
