Kirk Douglas was one of the legendary actors who died at the age of 103. Michael posted on Instagram, “It is with tremendous sadness that my brothers and I announce that Kirk Douglas left us today at the age of 103.” He added, “To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived well into his golden years, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the causes he believed in setting a standard for all of us to aspire to.”
John Singleton
John Singleton became well-known after directing Boyz n the Hood in 1991. John became the first African American and the youngest individual nominated for Academy Award for Best Director. John was nominated when he was 24 years old. John directed hit movies like 2 Fast 2 Furious, Shaft, Higher Learning, Poetic Justice, and many more. However, John died in April 2019 after his life support was removed when he was in stroke.
