He is perhaps best known for portraying Ozone in the underground movie Breakin’, a role he reprised in the sequel. Lambada, Tango & Cash, and Xanadu are among his other feature film appearances.

On December 23, Leslie West, a 75-year-old rock guitarist who died two days after suffering a cardiac arrest, died. West co-founded Mountain in 1969 and performed with them on Woodstock’s second day. West made his feature film debut in Family Honor and The Money Pit during one of Mountain’s breakups.
