Enough Is Enough
As if not helping David take care of the gravel that was more for them than for him wasn’t enough, they even had the audacity to criticize the work he was doing on the gravel. They would berate him for his work performance. Even though the gravel was for everyone, none of them offered to assist. It’s as if the thought never occurred to them.
Protecting What Was His
One thing we haven’t mentioned yet, but it’s important to mention, is that David gave up a square meter of his own land and added it to the gravel to prevent any accidents and to keep his land from being destroyed. Although not everyone would have done it, David wished for everyone to be happy and safe. He tried everything he could to reach an agreement with his neighbors, but it was in vain.
