She is probably best known for her collaborations with the likes of Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. She has stood out and received 14 Grammys for songs like “Dream a Little Dream of Me,” “It Doesn’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing),” and “Cheek to Cheek.” She was truly a talented lady. Isn’t it neat that she received both the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Arts?
