Dusty Springfield

This British pop star did not find it hard to make it big across the pond. Dusty Springfield made waves in the blue-eyed soul scene with hit songs like “I Just Don’t Know What to Do with Myself” and “Son of Preacher Man.” Aside from that, she also made a splash by leading in the Swinging Sixties and sporting evening gowns for her performances. For five years, she fought a battle with cancer. Sadly, she breathed her last breath in 1999. She might no longer be around, but her musical legacy will never be forgotten.
