Aside from her singing voice, she has also blown us away with her wardrobe choices. Some of her more daring outfits have made her the talk of the town. If you ask us, it is quite amazing to know that she got her start by working at clubs in New York. She has definitely come a long way since those days!

We always love listening to her voice as she sang “Tell Mama,” “I’d Rather Go Blind,” “At Last,” “Something’s Got a Hold on Me,” and “The Wallflower.” This is barely scratching the surface of it! Aside from that, she has received credit for bridging the gap between rock and R&B. In fact, she has left such a huge impact on the former that she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
