A doctor arrived
After an hour and a half of tense waiting, during which the clock seemed to tick agonizingly slow, a doctor clad in green scrubs emerged from the sterile environment of the operating theater. His furrowed brow and the subtle crease of concern on his face were the first things Pradeep noticed as the doctor made his way over. With a blend of reassurance tempered with caution in his tone, the doctor gently approached Pradeep and in a hushed voice, began to deliver the update on his wife’s condition.
