Zoe Kazan – Elia Kazan’s Granddaughter
Zoe Kazan, big star of the 2017 film, The Big Sick, belongs to a long lineage of actors, writers, producers, and directors. Her father is writer Nicholas Kazan, and her grandfather was Elia Kazan, a prominent Hollywood director. It looks as if grandpa Elia passed on his eyes and distinct nose to Zoe. We can only hope she will not inherit his bad reputation as well. In the 1950s, Elia testified against many of his colleagues as part of the McCarthyism era of anti-communist blacklists created by then Senator Joseph McCarthy. The criticism he received lasted his entire life, culminating in his 1999 Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony.

Arthur Donald – Paul McCartney’s Grandson
If you have an eerie feeling that you have seen this picture on the right before, look more closely at the picture on the left. The person on the left is the widely recognizable Beetles singer, Sir Paul McCartney. Arthur Donald is Paul’s eldest grandchild by way of Paul’s daughter, Mary. Since Sir Paul’s estimated self worth is at $1.1 billion in 2018, we are certain Arthur is having no trouble paying the tuition at Yale.
