Disagreements
In the past, Mary and Peter had had various run-ins with the cemetery supervisor. There were times she had told them they had to repark their car as those spaces were reserved, she had also told them that past a certain time they had to lock up the cemetery and Mary and Peter had to leave. There was certainly some resentment from Mary and Peter’s side.

Actually, Mary and Peter initially knew this woman from school. She was in the year above and always seemed to be snarky. The couple had the idea that this woman was just a bitter, heartless woman. At least initially. Despite the run-ins, there were times she had shown she cares also.
