Due to his portrayal of the Joker, the outstanding Joaquin Phoenix won the 2020 Golden Globe for Best Actor. The actor does, however, have a fascinating name changing story. It is true that many people change their names when they make it to Hollywood. The actor’s vegetarianism and work as a spokesperson for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are fascinating additions. He was even named the organization’s “Person of the Year” in 2019 by PETA. Cool.
