That was what happened to Stephenie Meyer of Twilight fame. The author had to travel around a lot to promote her books, which caused her to develop a poor diet. She did not opt for cosmetic surgery even though she could afford them without a problem whatsoever. Instead, she decided to start running, which has led her to shed 20 pounds in no time!

Reverend Al Sharpton has always been a fairly big guy. When he was at his heaviest, he had a weight of 305 lbs. We are not sure what motivated him to drop the weight, although that was exactly what he did. He claims that he did not get cosmetic or gastric band surgery to lose 176 pounds. Apparently, he simply changed his diet to get the optimum nutrition that his body needed and started working out on top of that. As you can see, he certainly got good results from all of these changes!
