David Robinson: Builds Schools

San Antonio Spurs retired player David Robinson founded and funded Carver Academy, a non-profit private school for inner-city kids. The basketball center retired in 2003, later realizing his dream to help less-fortunate children. In 2012, the school became a public charter school, the name changing to IDEA Carver. David remains very involved, visiting the school almost every day to help out where he can.
