The talented Sidney Poitier first made waves as the first African-American star to win an Academy Award! He earned the Best Actor award for his performance in Lilies of the Field. It’s fascinating to learn that he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1974. He has dipped his toes into directing and producing as well. He has not worked in the industry for quite some time now.

We cannot deny the talent possessed by Carl Reiner. He is a director, actor, singer and writer who has worked with Mel Brooks and Dick Van Dyke. However, he is best known to the younger generation as Saul from Ocean’s Eleven. In 2016, he endorsed Bernie Sanders for the primaries. It’s pretty impressive that he continues to act to this day!
