Josh Duhamel – Football

Josh Duhamel first tried his hand at modeling, but it appears that he found more success as an actor. He was on the hit television shows “All My Children” and “Las Vegas.” Later in his career, he became a familiar figure onscreen, most known for his roles in the “Transformers” film series “Life as We Know It” and “Love, Simon.” Duhamel came from impoverished roots and attended Minot State University in North Dakota, where he served as the backup quarterback for the football team. His two seasons were completed at a 50% rate. After college, he worked as a model until he was approached for acting roles; the rest is history.

Steve Carell – Ice Hockey

Fans of Steve Carell are certainly aware that he is a major hockey lover, but he was also an ice hockey player growing up. In high school, he participated in ice hockey and lacrosse. He was a goaltender on Denison University’s Big Red hockey team and a member of Burpee’s Seedy Theatrical Company while there. Carell told ESPN that he had to determine whether he wanted to pursue a serious career in the sport or treat it as a hobby. While he wanted to play professional hockey, fate had other plans for him. He is most recognized for his role in “The Office,” for which he was dubbed “America’s Funniest Man.”
