Blessed Another Day
Outside her window, the wind was blowing softly on this peaceful, wet night. When she woke up, she had no idea what was in store. Lisa woke up with a healthy kidney after spending hours in the operation room. The sight of a new day filled her with gratitude. However, she observed something that was not there before when her mother and a nurse wheeled her to her room. She had a lovely gown on her bed, and her classmates were all dressed in dresses and suits in the hospital parking lot outside her window.
