In “Shore Leave,” Emily Banks brought Tonia Barrows to life. She was not just an actress, but she was also a spokesperson in the past. It looks like the producers made the right call to cast her in the show. She was also a yeoman. Instead of serving as a love interest of Kirk, she was instead a romantic interest of Doctor McCoy. We are glad to see that the other guys got to explore romantic options as well.

Even though Emily Banks had humble roots, she eventually made a name for herself in the industry. Aside from the show, she also appeared in Gunfight in Abilene, The Tim Conway Show, Bewitched, and Live a Little, Love a Little. She was active in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, but she pretty much vanished into thin air after that.
