Celeste Yarnall’s Passing

In October 2018, Celeste Yarnall lost her battle with ovarian cancer after four years of struggling with it. Her spouse Nazim Nazim said, “She was magnificent in everything she did. She was my beloved queen.” In 1967, she was in an episode of Star Trek called “The Apple.” In 2013, she said, “Life is just a blessing and a gift. I’ve been on what I call a celestial Trek, and it’s wonderful that fans of the show keep us (people who were involved in Star Trek) alive in their memories and with their good wishes.”

France Nuyen as Elaan

In the third season of the show, we watched France Nuyen play Elaan in “Elaan of Troyius.” She played a bad girl who was arrogant, bratty, and rude. Not only that, but those who touched her tears became her love slave! She used this trick on Captain Kirk, but Spock ended up finding an antidote to snap him out of it. This was a groundbreaking episode since it showed a love scene with people from different races.
