What A Medieval Maiden From Edinburgh Really Looked Like
Forensic experts uncovered more than 400 medieval women, men, and kids at the South Leith Parish Church in Edinburgh. The bodies were excavated in 2009 to help the new train system of the country. The medieval woman was discovered in a communal grave, although it was hard to determine her relationship with the other people down there. Researchers believe they died of the plague.
