A profound fear of the ocean was instilled in millions of people by Steven Spielberg’s Jaws in 1975. Sheriff Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) discovers a shark attack victim off the coast of Amity Island. While Mayor Larry Vaughn agrees to leave the beaches open because the summer is a busy season for the town, Brody’s initial thought is to keep the beaches closed to swimmers until it is safe. On that weekend, a little boy is murdered by a shark, which confirms Brody’s worst fears. The mother of the dead youngster had placed a bounty on the shark, and Brody, some local fishermen, and others set out to capture it.

Metropolis, which came out in 1927, was significantly innovative. Future-set Metropolis depicts class conflict in which the wealthy enjoy unrestricted freedom while the less fortunate are required to care for the city’s machinery. One of the richer residents of the town, Freder Fredersen, discovers a world of workers underneath the surface. These folks are responsible for maintaining the orderly operation of the utopian world above them. Audiences were exposed to robots and hallucinations in this movie. Nearly a century later, this silent movie is still socially important since the globe still struggles with concerns of social class. It is a true masterwork of filmmaking.
