If we had an oil spill in our clothes, carpet or anything else inside our house and we wanted to remove it, then we had a solution to this problem. We could use soda in the area because it could absorb the grease and oil in any various kinds of clothing. However, we should first remove the excess fat before applying the baking soda on the oil or grease spilt part of the clothes. Leave it for 10-15 minutes to absorb any remaining oil, and after the designated minutes, we should vacuum the remnants of the mixture and wash the tainted fabric in a cold cycle

Cloth Furniture
We knew that different cloth furniture in our house could absorb various odours. After days or months, the furniture would emit a weird smell which was unpleasant for us. We could remove it by applying a baking soda on it and leave it for all-night. The next morning, we should vacuum the area to remove the mixture on the furniture. It would freshen the smell on the cloth.
