After Titanic came out, Celine Dion went on the “Let’s Talk About Love” tour. It all seemed to be going well when she was hit by more terrible news. Rene had cancer. She learned about the diagnosis during a show and sang for him. Rene succumbed to cancer on January 14, 2016 at the age of 73.

Before this, the two celebrated something amazing. The two of them welcomed their twins on October 23rd, 2010. The boys were named Eddy and Nelson. Eddy Marnay, the French producer of her first five albums, was the namesake of the former. The later was named after Nelson Mandela.
