It is a fact that there is not a great deal of wildlife in the vicinity of a cruise ship. The idea that whales and dolphins would swim right up to the boat is nothing more than a romanticized version of the truth. Looking out from the boat, the vast expanse of empty ocean is the only thing you will see the vast majority of the time.
