Tom Buhrow and Sabine Stamer – parting ways after two decades
Born in Troisdorf, Tom Buhrow has been the director of Westdeutscher Rundfunk since July 2013. For many years, he was married to journalist Sabine Stamer, who became famous for her biography of Daniel Cohn-Bendit. Together they have two daughters and shared not only their family life, but also their passion for writing. This collaboration led to the publication of three books together. Their marriage, which began in 1993, lasted almost a quarter of a century – 23 years to be exact. In 2016, Bild reported that Tom and Sabine had separated amicably and by mutual consent.
