We’ll be the first to acknowledge it was a funny show. Viewers couldn’t get enough of seeing Parish Hilton and Nicole Richie do menial tasks in tiny communities around the land. Paris afterward admitted that producers asked them to act more than an agitator and a ditzy blonde than they are. She added that she also enjoyed playing the airhead and using the baby voice. Indeed, she still used this persona as a habit! It was aired for 5 years, so it’s not surprising.

This is one of the HGTV TV series with the most success. It is disappointing to learn it is only another counterfeit performance. The contestants have already opted to buy the property before they appear before the cameras! Sometimes they’ve bought the house already. The fact that this show often engages teenage actors to portray the role of homeowners makes it all so much worse.
