Waiting Outside
This time, Rose understood him and notified the undertaker of David’s discoveries. She realized she couldn’t continue with the funeral until this issue was rectified. Rose informed David that they would investigate the matter and that all they had to do now was wait. They went outside to wait after David calmed down.
A Sign
Over the graveyard, the sun shone brightly. It doesn’t usually rain at this time of year, but it did today. Rose interpreted this as a sign. Her sister kept a close check on her. A tear had fallen down her cheek, and David stroked it away. She looked at him and realized everything would be fine.
