Inside Lady Gaga’s Malibu Mansion

Published on 12/12/2018

As it tends to be with many known celeb houses, the bigger, the better. Lady Gaga is, of course, no exception as she spent $23 million on a 10,000 square-foot Malibu estate listed by The Agency. The mansion’s design is heavily inspired by the Mediterranean. This theme is extremely fitting as it’s an oceanfront house. As you’d expect, the views are breathtaking. The plot is almost six acres and honestly, we can’t imagine a better place to live. This place is especially great for the pop singer as it has plenty of privacy and is so relaxing in its nature. This gorgeous mansion was designed by architect Steve Giannetti and was built by Fintonconstruction. The materials were mostly imported from Europe. If you want to check out this stunning piece of real estate, keep on reading!

A White Angel

Within the grounds of Lady Gaga’s luxurious estate, she has furnished it with the best stables money can buy. Loyal Gaga fans might have realized by now that the singer is completely obsessed with horses. Her equestrian love affair first started in 2015 when her record label delivered a beautiful white horse to her home, which she called “a White Angel from heaven”. Gaga posted this gorgeous picture of her new horse on Instagram in 2015, which she proudly named Arabella and promised that “I will ride, and care for, and love her forever. I was so surprised!” The prized horse arrived wrapped up with a pink bow and the perfect addition to her seaside California ranch-mansion.

After she fell head over heels in love with her ‘White Angel’, this was just the start of a beautiful horse collection for Gaga. Soon enough she added more and more pony’s to the brood. She later posted this beautiful picture on Instagram to introduce her two “new babies”. Her ranch mansion and surrounding coastal view provided the perfect location to raise a stable of horses and ride around the country in style.

Stable Love

Within the grounds of her mansion, Lady Gaga was sure to make her stable expansive enough to suit her growing collection. As you can see, there is enough space for the two young horses to mingle with one of her older ones. Gaga seems to be a country girl at heart, and loves the outdoors life. Fans may not know that she is also an active gardener and has a chicken coup too.

Riding Around Town

Lady Gaga really treats her horses like royalty, so they can also expect the full red-carpet treatment. For her prized horse Arabella and her pals, she kitted out her estate with a dressage ring, horse barn, tack and feed room. There is also a riding arena, four grass-sun pens, and two grazing pastures. If that’s not enough, there are also a number of riding trails throughout the grounds and surrounding area.

Goodbye Angel

Lady Gaga’s country-inspired lifestyle was also one of the influences behind her analog-style 2016 album Joanne. So it seems poetic that she posed on her beloved horse Arabella for the cover photo of the album. Nevertheless, sadly in January 2019, Gaga she posted this emotional and bitter-sweet post on Instagram, with the caption “Goodbye, my angel”. She explained in another post, “I am so honored and blessed to have won both Best Song and Best Actress alongside Glenn Close this evening. My heart is exploding with pride. But it saddens me to say that just after the show I learned that my dear angel of a horse, Arabella, is dying. I am rushing to her now to say goodbye. Her name means ‘yield to prayer’. She is and was a beautiful horse.”

California Wildfires

Lady Gaga originally bought her Californian ranch for $23 million in 2014. However in November 2018, California was swept up by some of the worst wildfires ever recorded. As the flames began to spread, Gaga was one of the many celebs that joined the millions of Californians that were evacuated temporarily from their houses. Still, as the flames surrounded Gaga’s house, luckily her Malibu mansion was not affected by the California fire. Thankfully the firefighters were able to put out many of the fires in the area and Gaga was beyond grateful that her house and even her chickens outside the mansion were safe.
