Despite the fact that it was made out to Elmer and he had an ID with him, the bank teller refused to give him any cash for the check. They wanted to call Roberto to clarify the matters. They thought it was unbelievable that this homeless man had a check like this and suspected it was fraudulent. Two weeks after the incident, Roberta got in touch with him once again and offered him a new solution.

Viewers were amazed by the honesty of this homeless man and, unbeknownst to him, he had a number of fans as well. When he and Roberta met up again, he was surprised by the throng of people greeting and applauding him. However, there was another surprise in store for him that day.
