Jürgen Klopp, 3-million-euro villa on Sylt

After an intensive soccer season, FIFA Coach of the Year Jürgen Klopp prefers to enjoy the peace and quiet on the North Sea island of Sylt. While his club, Liverpool FC, offers him free accommodation in the UK, “Kloppo” invested several million in his charming thatched-roof house in the exclusive millionaires’ mile of Kampen. Kampen is the only place on Sylt where thatched roofs are mandatory, and Klopp’s villa also blends harmoniously into this traditional picture. At home, however, he leaves the sceptre to his wife Ulla and openly admits: “I’m not a housework hero.” Instead, he prefers to spend time with friends such as Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Karl Dall, relaxing over a “Pilsken” in the cozy “Kupferkanne” café.

After two serious heart operations and an eye infarction, Beckenbauer is no longer able to walk well. Nevertheless, he doesn’t want to be chauffeured around, but wants to stay close to his friends.
