Dieter Bohlen, 2-million-euro apartments on Mallorca and a 3.5-million-euro house on Sylt
Dieter Bohlen’s original dream was to become a songwriter. However, his career initially got off to a less than glamorous start: he worked for a Hamburg record company and produced artists such as C.C. Catch before his breakthrough with Modern Talking. As Germany’s most successful music producer, he not only became a star, but also notorious as a DSDS judge. His biting comments, such as “Worse than three and a half per mille from the disco in the morning”, provided plenty to talk about. At the same time, he earned millions with the production of the winning albums. Bohlen has made a comfortable life for himself on Mallorca: He owns several luxury apartments in Santa Ponsa, which he shares with his grown-up children. Although he could live even more exclusively, the practical advantages outweigh the inconvenience – his yacht is moored in the harbor right outside his front door. In the evenings, he can often be found in Andratx, where he likes to stop off at an upmarket Italian restaurant.
Jürgen Drews, 2 million villa in Santa Ponsa
The “King of Mallorca” naturally needs a home befitting his status. But Jürgen Drews and his wife Ramona’s castle is modern and minimalist. It is idyllically situated under palm trees in the celebrity district of Santa Ponsa. The quiet town with around 10,000 inhabitants is located in the southwest of the island, almost 30 kilometers away from the lively Ballermann. Drews performs there two or three times a summer. The 71-year-old recently had to close his cult bistro “König von Mallorca”. The enormous losses after the Covid year were no longer sustainable even for the millionaire pop star. For ten years, the bar was a popular meeting place for fans. It housed numerous memorabilia from his almost 50-year career and the pop king was a regular visitor.
