The Rainbow and the Golden Road
We’re not sure if there’s a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow, but we’re certain that a golden path leads straight there! The lighting in this picture is truly beautiful, and the photographer has captured a gorgeous golden light reflecting on the road. The way the rainbow separates the bright side of the sky from the dark side is truly poetic. If you look closely, you can see that this photo actually shows a stunning double rainbow! Yawn, I’m Over It!
Pole vaulting is a highly complex sport that requires a lot of deliberation and strength. And what do you need for peak performance? Energy, of course! One might expect a person’s face to express extreme effort as they try to navigate through the air on a flimsy pole. However, that’s not the case in this picture. This poor woman didn’t get enough sleep the night before her competition. So, as she soars through the air, she yawns as if the jump doesn’t matter to her at all—she’s ready for a nap! We’re glad one of the photographers captured this fantastic shot before she dozed off.
