For her red carpet look, Joanne Woodward had a turtleneck dress, which had a repetitive blue and red designs that went down its length. The frock did feel very much like a couch swatch than a red carpet type of gown. Although it can be worn for special occasions but definitely not in a red carpet event.

Ali McGraw took a slightly different look at Oscars accessories in ’71, wearing her nightgown with a crochet hat. The navy blue nightgown looked quite stunning during the Oscars. However, we are just not sure if it indeed goes well with the crochet hat she was wearing. What do you think?
