individuals began pushing one another at first, and some of them collapsed, but then other individuals began to shout. Gradually, a void emerged in the center of the gathering. Dwayne had a notion, and he hoped he was mistaken, but his pals were unable to see what was making all this noise.

They halted and gave way to gasps just as abruptly as the screams and turmoil began. “Set up. Make way for us! From among the crowd, a voice yelled. Dwayne knew the voice. The crowd gradually dispersed, allowing Dwayne to see what was happening as the circle of people opened up.
