Amy Adams – Dancing and Track
Amy Adams’ path to becoming one of the world’s highest-paid actresses was not without incident. She went to Douglas County High School and, while she was not academically inclined, she was interested in the arts and sports. She competed in track and field as well as gymnastics. Adams told the Hollywood Reporter that she was intended to pursue track and field since she could sprint fast, but she discovered she preferred dance. As a result, she began her career as a dinner theater dancer. She then appeared in lesser films such as “Drop Dead Gorgeous” before making her breakthrough in “Junebug.” With parts in “Enchanted” and “The Fighter,” she established herself as a leading lady.
