Wouldn’t it be exciting to go on an adventure in a starship? From there, you can spend your time checking out other worlds and cruising through the universe. There might be friendly aliens, although some will almost certainly be hostile. Star Trek offered us the chance to see these plotlines play out. While the story is already good enough on its own, the beautiful women made it even better. Do you want to know how these lovely ladies are doing now? If so, you have come to the right place!

The producers of the show did a good job by putting one of the most gorgeous women in the world in the pilot episode. Susan Oliver was stunning as Vina, one of the greatest female characters in the series. She appeared in “The Cage,” the very first episode of the show. She boasted illusionary powers and could dance and transform into a green girl. Sadly, the actress experienced a tragedy of sorts later in life.

Susan Oliver

After appearing on Star Trek, she was in other TV shows like M*A*S*H, Peyton Place, Gunsmoke, and Days of Our Lives. Susan Oliver was even nominated for the last one! She developed an interest in aviation and trained for a pilot license. In the past, she nearly died twice on a plane as a passenger and had to undergo hypnosis to conquer her fear of flying. Isn’t that ironic? She died in 1990 at the young age of 58.
