In Star Trek: The Next Generation, Famke Janssen played a love interest of Captain Picard. This actress worked with Patrick Stewart on another hit series: The X-Men. She got to play Jean Gray in it, while he brought Charles Xavier or Professor X to life. What a great coincidence!

Martha Hackett as Seska
Seska was a member of the Voyager fleet. She was a Cardassian spy who got genetic modification to obtain access to the Maquis. She was a love interest of Chakotay but did not comply with the rules on board. At one point, she teamed up with a villain called Kazon! She was killed off in the end.
