In the second season, Tanya Lemani played Kara in “Wolf in the Fold.” She wowed us all with alluring belly dance. It was considered scandalous at the time that it came out! Things took a turn for the worse after Kirk lets Scotty take her out for a walk. She ended up getting killed by the spirit of Jack the Ripper!

It is interesting to note that Tanya Lemani started as a classic ballet dancer. Born to Russian parents, she was born in Iran. Can you believe that she speaks fluent Russian, Persian, and English? Aside from that, she knows some Ukrainian, Italian, Armenian, and Spanish as well. After she moved to the US, she looked for work in Las Vegas and started doing belly dancing. She went on to star in more than 20 films.
