Discussing Plans Over Dinner
In December 2015, the two couples had dinner together. Without a doubt, the period was stressful for Nicole and Kevin, so Lianna and Shawn wanted to help lift their spirits without poking their nose into the situation. The topic was difficult to avoid, though, and they were soon talking about children. Lianna and Shaun noticed that Nicole felt upset about not having kids, so Lianna made a decision to offer her help.

After listening to Nicole talk about her childbearing problems, her friend Lianna said something she did not quite expect. Kevin recounted what happened at the dinner table. He said, “Lianna goes, ‘You know I have five children, Shawn and I want to have maybe one or two more.'” “And [Nicole and I] looked at each other with a puzzled look, like, ‘You have five kids, why would you want any more?’” Lianna’s response made everyone emotional.
