What Jane Of Jamestown Really Looked Like
Dr. Douglas Owsley is the chief forensic anthropologist at the National Museum of Natural History. He examined Jane and found cuts and marks that indicated attempts to separate bran and tissue from bone. Apparently, people in Jamestown starved during the winter of 1609.

The Mary Rose warship went down in 1545 during an attack on the French. It belonged to the English Tudor navy under King Henry VIII. It was found nearly 500 years later! They discovered most of the crew members and examined the results. One of them was an archer.
