Mike Sorrentino, better known as “The Situation” on the hit MTV reality show Jersey Shore, was sentenced to eight months in prison in 2018 for tax evasion and other tax offenses.

Sorrentino was also given a two-year supervised release, a $10,000 fine, and 500 hours of community service as part of his sentence. Sorrentino’s arrest for tax evasion was not his first time in jail. He was arrested in New Jersey in 2014 for assaulting a customer at his tanning salon.
