Alton took it upon him to go through the files from the Department of the Army to learn about the fate that befell Billie. Once he was given access to all the scattered confidential war files, he learned that he was not the only person looking into these records. He found an interesting piece of information as he went over the records. A French woman was asking about his cousin as well! Who on earth could she possibly be?

What made this all the more interesting was that neither Peggy nor Alton knew anything about her. She asked for the same files that he did, although she requested it almost a year and a half before he got to them. They could not help but speculate about the identity of the French woman. Why did she feel the need to learn more about Billie? Alton only grew more obsessed and curious. It was nice to have a new lead after such a long time. Perhaps this woman had all the answers that they had been looking for.
