Veronica Ferres, USD 6.5 million mansion in Beverly Hills
Since her breakthrough with “Das Superweib”, she has become a star who is known far beyond the borders of Germany. The actress has been in a relationship with billionaire investor and TV personality Carsten Maschmeyer (“Die Höhle der Löwen”) for 12 years, and the two have been married since 2014. Veronica Ferres recently gave an insight into her new home in Beverly Hills, where she lives with her husband and children. The elegant five-bedroom villa boasts a minimalist color palette of grey and beige tones, while carefully selected pieces, such as an antique wooden table made from century-old wood, create a stylish yet cozy atmosphere. No wonder neighbors like Werner Herzog and Adrien Brody like to stop by for a plate of Maultaschen or real Bavarian Leberkäse.
Tine Wittler, farmhouse in Brandenburg
She was awarded the German Television Prize for her show “Einsatz in vier Wänden”. For ten years, the interior designer gave hundreds of apartments on RTL a stylish flair. After the end of the series, Tine Wittler retired from the television business and devoted herself to writing. Among other things, she published the life guide “Irgendwas ist immer”. Today, she has found her personal happiness – within her own four walls. In the small Brandenburg village of Jabel in Wendland, which has just 60 inhabitants, she has lovingly restored a 200-year-old farmhouse and furnished it beautifully. The house is known in the village as “Wittler’s living room”. There she runs a beer garden and a stage where she performs and presents chansons herself.
