Ilka Bessin, home in Berlin
The role of “Cindy from Marzahn” made the comedian famous and helped her find her way out of Hartz IV. The trained chef lived on welfare for four years before she made her breakthrough with her own show. A few years later, her image changed: she published her autobiography “Abgeschminkt”, lost weight and said goodbye to her cult figure. The boorish Cindy became a self-confident woman who now lives happily with her fiancé and has been able to furnish her own apartment with her wages. “Unfortunately, I was in my Bordeaux red phase back then,” she says with a grin, “which is why my entire living room is dark red today.” Ilka slipped into the role of Cindy one last time at the end of August for the show “RTL sagt Danke”.
Mario Barth, luxury villas in Düsseldorf and Kitzbühel
Comedian Mario Barth breaks all records on stage and fills sold-out stadiums like a rock star. But away from the limelight, the 49-year-old, once a telecoms engineer, seems to be in constant trouble with his neighbors. First, a neighbor in Düsseldorf took Barth to court because he didn’t agree with his huge garage for twelve cars. Now there is another dispute – this time over his vacation villa in Kitzbühel. A neighbor is demanding over half a million euros in damages because one of Barth’s digger drivers allegedly damaged her wall and garden. However, the comedy star can’t laugh about it and is now taking his construction company to court himself.
