The actor has made a name for himself for his determination to bring his characters to life. One way he did this was to follow weight loss and weight gain procedures no matter how intense. When he was cast in Dallas Buyers Club, he dropped 42 pounds for the role by taking on a difficult weight loss diet with nearly zero meat but lots of greens.

After getting diagnosed with cancer and undergoing hysterectomy, she focused on dropping her extra weight. She has since said that she was under the impression she needed to do it because of the state of her health. She did not want plastic surgery, which is why she went on diets. So, what was her trick to losing nearly a hundred pounds? Apparently, it was nothing more than to simply count calories and take long walks. Whoa.
