One scene in the movie involves Jack holding out his arms on the bow of the ship as he screamed “I’m the king of the world!” Can you believe that this was not in the original script? The truth was that Leo just felt like it and yelled out the line. Funnily enough, it is now one of the most iconic parts of the film!

The Real J. Dawson
Jack Dawson from the film was nothing more than a work of fiction. However, the truth was that there was indeed a man called J. Dawson who boarded the vessel. Joseph Dawson had been a member of the crew and died on the Titanic. His body was recovered and then buried in a cemetery in Nova Scotia.
