Before getting inside Joyce’s house, Clara and Gladys already imagined what the interior would look like. They thought of a great many possibilities, even crazy ones, but not one of those their minds could have conceived.

One of the sisters, Clara, was at the office when the woman phoned. It wasn’t anything special if one thinks of how successful they have been as years passed. There wasn’t any hint of enthusiasm in the voice of the caller and to say the least, she even sounded reluctant. Nevertheless, she introduced herself and said her name was Joyce. Previously, she was just one of the many others who sell their properties. So, they did their best to reassure the woman that they would put up the optimal offer they could. Carla rarely expects to get a mansion or a deluxe house to deal with. As a matter of fact, she set her mind to see the worst the moment Joyce told her how old she was.
