Old age is quite commonly associated with a home not well-taken care of, one that has rooms with things everywhere – chaotic, in other words – and this is mainly why she did not have high expectations towards the house. It is usually more difficult to sell properties like this. Strangely, Carla hoped this might not be a usual case. Joyce said she was 96 years old and had gathered a variety of household stuff.
