Jane Lynch is best known for her role as Sue Sylvester in the hit musical television series “Glee.” Her performance earned her a Primetime Emmy nomination. She has also appeared in films that have been both commercially successful and critically praised. “A Mighty Wind,” “Two and a Half Men,” and “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” are among them. Lynch discusses her life and admits to being a Cubs fan. She turned out to be a sports enthusiast as well. She told Newnownext that she was an athlete in high school, having played softball and basketball. She also admitted that she didn’t enjoy basketball and was only recruited because she was tall.
Sheryl Crow – Track and Field
Sheryl Crow is the singer-songwriter responsible for blockbuster singles such as “All I Wanna Do,” “Everyday Is a Winding Road,” and “If It Makes You Happy,” among others. Her influence in the music industry is well known for fusing rock, pop, country, folk, and blues elements. Crow excelled as an athlete during her college years before breaking into the industry. She was a majorette and all-state track athlete at Kennett High School, where she won a gold medal in the 75-meter low hurdles. Despite the fact that it did not go through, she still runs for charities today. Crow has also appeared in several television shows, including “30 Rock” and “One Tree Hill.”
